A demonstration of one of the many reasons I admire Barack Obama. This story was related by Christopher Hitchens in his 1 May Guardian review of the new Obama biography, The Bridge, by the editor of the New Yorker.
When things became emotional [at Harvard Law Review meetings, during Obama's time as editor], he would counsel his team: "Remember: nobody reads it."
